The Ge4 International Advisory Board gathers former and present professors, politicians, political scientists and industrialists who were involved with Ge4 in one or another way. It offers advice and guide to the Ge4 Executive Direction, is keeping informed of new activities and can provide suggestions and help based on the long international experience of the members. The members are invited to the annual conferences and are in permanent contact to the Executive Direction through their President

Dr. Sliwa started his career at NASA working on
aircraft design, optimization, and spacecraft
controls. He progressed into management roles at
NASA and next served as VP of Product
Development for Integrated Systems, a Silicon
Valley start-up. Dr. Sliwa was then elected
president of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University
and served from 1991 to 1998. He was the CEO of
Insitu Inc., a drone developer that was sold to
Boeing in 2008. He is now the CEO and Founder
of Seeq, a software start-up in the process industry
sector. Dr. Sliwa has engineering degrees from
Princeton University, George Washington University, and Stanford University. He has a
business degree from Stanford University.

Dr. Alberto Oleaga is currently Associate Professor
of Physics at the Faculty of Engineering in Bilbao,
Spain (University of the Basque Country UPV/
EHU), as well as Erasmus Mundus local
coordinator for Engineering Programmes.
SPAIN
He was Vicedean for International Relations at the Faculty of Engineering between 2005 and 2013, being in charge of all the International Exchange Programmes with more than 100 universities all over the world (Erasmus, GE4, GlobalE3, “Latin America”, 25 Double Degree programmes, special programmes), raising the participation rate of students from 8% to 28% along that period. He is now the local coordinator of 4 Erasmus Mundus programmes focused on Engineering in which UPV/ EHU takes part: eASTANA, EWENT, ACTIVE and PANTHER and serves as International Consultant at UPV/EHU. He has several publications on the management of Double Degree Programmes and has taken part in many International Conferences making presentations on matters related to International Relations and Education. He is also an expert in Quality of Management of International Programmes, having achieved for his Faculty the ISO9011:2008 standard in 2011.

Jane Daniels is a consultant, researcher, speaker and author who has spent most of her professional life as an advocate for women in engineering and the sciences. Acknowledging the importance of international education and the advantages which GE3 could offer to female engineering students, Jane brought Purdue University into the organization in the early years of its existence.
